Easter Sunday 4-up Team Time Trial

The Easter Sunday 4-up Team Time Trial is back, after a successful debut in 2017. Extending our traditional Easter Monday sportive to a two day event - and adding an element of competition to boot!! The event will start and finish from the same venue as the sportive, and sit alongside our new cycling & triathlon expo that will also be happening at the same time.

Featuring a 23.5 mile rolling course, this is a true test of a teams strength and teamwork. Open to teams of four riders, with the time taken on the third rider to cross the finish line, it is important to ride as a squad - and not just ride as hard as you can from the outset!!

The event will be open to multiple categories of teams for both full-aero (TT) bikes and non-aero (road) bikes - with sub categories in each section of men's, women's and mixed teams. The 2018 Easter Sunday TTT will also act as the first round of the 2018 Cotswold League, setting riders up for the season ahead.

The route follows a 23.5 mile rolling course from it's HQ in Cirencester, with two timing checks out on course - the first at Tetbury Audi at 9 miles and the second at Jolly Nice Cafe at 16 miles.

The event will be split into six individual races / categories - with a maximum of 30 teams per category, but an overall maximum of 100 teams able to race on the day. Links to the entry page for each category are below and entry is throught the Cycling Time Trials (CTT) website. The event itself will be run under CTT rules and regulations (please see their website for further details).

Frequently asked questions...
Anything not covered off below, please use the contact us page to drop us a line.

1) Do I have to be a member of a CTT affiliated club to be able to race? In a word, yes. However if you are not a member of a CTT affiliated club we can still get you racing on the day. We've agreed with our event partners over at Performance Cycles that they will supply a '48 hour trial membership' of Performance Cycles CC (www.performancecycles.cc) to anyone that is not currently a member of a CTT affiliated club - the cost of this will be covered by us. Therefore, simply put 'Performance Cycles' in the club field when you're completing your entry and we'll do the rest for you.

2) What intervals will teams be set off at? Teams will be set off at 3 minute intervals

3) What mix of male/female riders do I need for a 'mixed' team? Mixed teams need to have at least one rider of the opposite sex to the rest of the team (i.e. 3 males and 1 female is fine).

4) Is this a qualifying round for the Cotswold League? Yes it is, please see the Cotswold League website for further details. Please note that for 2018 Cotswold League teams MUST enter the road bike category to be eligible for Cotswold League points.

5) What makes a 'road bike' for the road bike category? Basically little or no aero extra's!! i.e. no aero helmets, no aero bars, no wheels deeper than 49mm - 'aero' road frames are OK however. If you think you might be pushing your luck with it - you probably are!!

6) Are following cars allowed? No.

7) How many riders have to finish for time to count? The teams time will be taken on the 3rd rider to cross the finish line.
