Cotswold Autumn Classic Sportive,
Sunday 18th September 2022
2022 event now OPEN for entries
Following it's return in 2021 after a year out due to the COVID pandemic, the Cotswold Autumn Classic Sportive returns for 2022 with a slightly earlier date of Sunday 18th September. Where we'll once again be tackling some of the best roads the Cotswolds have to offer, with a combination of stunning scenery and challenging climbs to test event the most seasoned rider.
The event offers riders the choice of 55km, 100km, or 160km
(100 mile) routes through some of the best countryside the Cotswolds has
to offer - and you won't need to decide on the route you're taking until
you get to the split point on the day. Using the same great venue as it's
sister event (the Spring Classic) but a completely different route, the
Cotswold Autumn Classic makes for a great day out on the bike.
Each route will be comprehensively signed, with well stocked feed stations
out on the route (one for the 55km and 100km routes, and two for the 160km
route) and motorcycle outrider support and Medical Cover (supplied by GWAS Medical). Mechanical support will be provided on the day by Performance
Cycles, at the start, each feed station and also in a support car
out on the road.
Entry for the Cotswold Autumn Classic, is now open and costs just £37.00 per person.
If you've not ridded the Autumn Classic before, here's some of the feedback
we've had from riders over the last couple of years....
Just wanted to say what a great event Sunday was! Excellent
route, very well sign posted and a great selection of food at the half
way point. Will definitely be back next year if you run it again (and
will encourage others) Paul E.
This is the second year I’ve participated. Very well
organised and nice route. This is turning into one of my favourites so
thank you very much. Nick B
Great event and fantastic organisation. Thanks again; see
you next year. Mike
I wanted to say how comforting it was to have the motorcycle
support patrolling the route. It was definitely a big plus for me, and
something that I've just not seen done so well on other sportives- so
a big thumbs up for that! Gary
